MYSIA, Pergamum. Commodus. AD 177-192. Æ Medallion (42mm, 39.13 g, 6h). Homonoia with Ephesus. P. Aelius Pius, strategus. Laureate and draped bust right / Pergamus, holding statue of Aesculapius and scepter, standing right, vis-à-vis Androclus, holding statue of Artemis Ephesia and scepter, standing left; lighted and garlanded altar between. Franke & Nollé Type XIV (VJ/R29) Kampmann, Homonoia, 31 (V12/R30); SNG France 2185 (same dies). Good VF, brown-green patina, some smoothing in fields.
